He lives and works in Marseille; he was born in 1986.

By creating his sculptures and installations using casts of decorative and architectural elements (columns, fountain bases, rosettes, etc.), Cyril Zarcone examines the proliferation of forms that, through their industrial reproduction, permeate our visual culture.

The commodification of models, their proliferation, and the standardization of a taste devoid of origins are all issues that run through his work. Coming from a working-class background, the artist evokes both this formal heritage and that of craftsmanship. Attentive to technique, his gestures and tools reflect this need to create, and his works thus bear the traces of their making. Cyril Zarcone appropriates and assembles; he borrows, deconstructs hierarchies, and creates dialogues. His work occupies spaces extensively, offering a reinterpretation of them through a play on balance and movement.

His work has been presented in various institutions such as the Collège des Bernardins (2020), the Mandet Museum, the Château de Mayenne, Chapelle XIV (2022), the Cité des électriciens (2023), Vidéochroniques, Parc Longchamp (2025), and at events such as Nuit Blanche Mayenne and Arts-Ephémères Marseille.
